Job Summary
Sutter Surgical Hospital – North Valley services the Yuba-Sutter community. Our brand new Hospital focuses on providing outpatient and inpatient surgical procedures, as well as MRI outpatient services. We are looking to fill open positions of Registered Nurse – Operating Room.
Our Operating Room RN’s will direct and provide professional Perioperative nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum. They will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care. They may also be asked to perform scrubbing and assisting duties within and support of the sterile field during operative procedures and assure proper care and maintenance of all surgical instrumentation and equipment.
Requirements:
- ADN, Diploma in Nursing or Graduate of an NLN accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in California.
- 3+ Years experience as an RN in an acute care facility.
- 1+ Year “recent” experience in operating room.
- Must have BCLS at hire and ACLS certification within 60 days of employment.
- PALS certification recommended.
- Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
